This is a book tip!
Yes is More is a book about architecture, realized as a very easy-to-read and visually striking comic.
Written by Danish architect Bjarke Ingels, it not only highlights the projects of his own team (B.I.G.) but also guides the reader through a series of mind-boggling ideas. In essence, Ingels’ philosophy is about accepting clients’ wishes and offcial regulations, just like you accept and incorporate other “natural factors” like natural and architectural surroundings or the historical/political backdrop of the region.
The outcome is usually unexpected, sometimes spectacular and often, well, beautiful.
